Sharjah-Dubai slip road opens to cut Al Badea bottlenecks

A new slip road that opened today will slash travel time between Sharjah and Dubai.

The highway is part of the AED 200 million Al Badea project.

Involving the development of the Emirates and Maliha roads’ intersection in Sharjah, it’s being implemented by the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

Three lanes spanning two kilometres have been built before the road’s entrance to absorb traffic from Al Badea.

The move is one of a series of schemes to help reduce bottlenecks and improve links between Sharjah and the national road network.
