Romania repeals corruption decree after demos: sources

An estimated 330,000 people demonstrated across the country in the biggest turnout since the toppling of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989Bucharest (AFP) – Romania's government formally repealed Sunday contentious corruption legislation that has sparked the biggest protests since the fall of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989, ministerial sources said.
